The fish lantern dance, a national intangible cultural heritage on Chung Ying Street, has a history of more than 300 years. Since its return to the Chung Ying Street stage in 2003, festivals such as the Chung Ying Street Cultural Festival and the Sha Tau Kok Fish Lantern Festival have also become platforms for promoting intangible cultural heritage, promoting cultural tourism, and revitalizing the economy.

In recent years, the fish lantern dance has also gone abroad and gone global, performing in Sydney, Australia and other places. Some citizens who have participated in the two Sino-Ying Street Cultural Festival activities said frankly that they did not expect that the cultural heritage of Sino-Ying Street is so profound. Not only can you enjoy a variety of intangible cultural heritage performances such as fish lantern dance, lion dance, and dragon dance with a hundred people, but you can also taste Hong Kong rice noodles, Hakka Leicha, Jiugui dishes, Tiaojia glutinous rice balls and other specialty snacks in one day.

Zhou Huangxing is the owner of the "Zhou Yangji Department Store" on Zhongying Street. His store has been operating in Zhongying Street for more than 50 years. After three generations of people, he started out as a grocery store, then moved to a gold shop, and now operates a department store again. "Over the years, the shops here in Hong Kong have basically maintained their original appearance, but the mainland has changed a lot."

Dong Xiu, member of the Standing Committee of the Yantian District Committee and Minister of Publicity of Shenzhen City, said that Zhongying Street promotes unity between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, and the residents of Shenzhen and Hong Kong enjoy together.
