The innovative highlights and distinctive features of this military parade mainly include the following aspects: First, the political connotation of obeying the party’s command is very clear. Through the formation of the three armed forces, solemn salutes, sonorous declarations, and marching in formations, the military parade declares the unchanging military spirit of adhering to the Party's absolute leadership over the military, the strong will to resolutely obey the command of the Party Central Committee, the Central Military Commission and Chairman Xi, and the high degree of consciousness of unswerving loyalty to the core, supporting the core, and safeguarding the core.

Second, the ceremony atmosphere of the celebration is grand and solemn. In the key links of the military parade and the opening of the parade, ceremonies such as the positioning of pacesetters, blowing of horns, reports and salutes were carefully designed to create a strong atmosphere of a national ceremony. The use of helicopter formation words, aircraft spraying colorful smoke, and flag displays in open spaces and other forms symbolize the 70-year glorious history of the construction and development of New China under the strong leadership of the great, glorious, and correct Communist Party of China, and the historic achievements of the modernization of the People's Army. According to the reformed and reshaped modern military power system with Chinese characteristics, formations were organized on foot to receive the parade. All major units in the army participated in the parade, and many formations made their debut. For example, the leadership and command formation is drawn from the Central Military Commission, the five theaters, services and armed police forces, reflecting the new system and new characteristics of leadership management and construction and organization and command of war; the academic research formation is drawn from the National Defense University, the Academy of Military Science, and the National University of Defense Technology, reflecting the important position of military academies and scientific research institutions in strengthening the army; the civilian personnel formation is mainly drawn from the joint logistics support force, reflecting the important role of civilian personnel in military construction after reform and reshaping.

For example, the unmanned combat module shows the development direction of unmanned combat of the army, navy and air force, and many unmanned equipment are making their debut; the information combat module arranges the strategic support force's network and electronic countermeasures, information communications, surveying and navigation, meteorology and hydrology and other equipment references to demonstrate the organization and use of space-based information systems. The foot formation is formed into a peacekeeping force formation, drawn from the peacekeeping standby force, to reflect our military's determination and ability to maintain world peace and regional stability.

The sixth is to firmly establish a clear direction for success. Most of the formations are led by generals, who are jointly served by two commanders of the troops being reviewed. The number of generals exceeds that in the past, and it is the largest number of senior commanders who have been reviewed in history.

Seventh is a strong manifestation of the inheritance and continuation of the red gene. The battle flag formation is organized to display the battle flags of the honorary and meritorious troops during the Agrarian Revolution, the Anti-Japanese War, the Liberation War and since the founding of New China. It enhances the historical depth of the military parade, expresses the deep memory of the revolutionary martyrs, always remembers the honorable and meritorious troops, and continues to inherit the fine traditional style.

Eighth, the use of simulation methods has achieved remarkable results. For the first time, this military parade used a simulation system to deduce and demonstrate the overall plan. A three-dimensional real-life simulation display of the opponent's team formation, formation transformation, and parade status played an important supporting role in improving the formation method and enhancing the viewing effect.

Ninth, the efficient and intensive security path will gradually move away. In accordance with the principles of strict economy and careful budgeting, and relying on the current joint logistics support system for organization and implementation, the overall effectiveness of various support work has been improved, and the comprehensive support conditions are also the best in history. The official military parade will be held in one week.
